About Winchester, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Winchester is proud to be the cornerstone of Clark County and a place where citizens and visitors alike can feel at home.  Nestled in Bluegrass Country, the beauty of the surrounding lush, green landscape is complimented by a quaint and colorful downtown that can be enjoyed year round.   With a number of beautiful parks and recreation options, and a focus on community involvement, Winchester is a great place for growing families to put down roots.

Support of small business is highly encouraged in Winchester.  One of the most well-known is the local Kentucky soft drink Ale-8-One.  Bottled in Winchester since 1926, it’s a staple of the town and region.  Visitors can tour the factory and enjoy a cold soda on warm summer days, while listening to some great local bluegrass.  If you’d like to learn more about the music of the region, stop in at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum, housed in the historic Guerrant Mission Clinic and Hospital.  This regal building is the perfect place to begin your historic exploration of the region.

There are plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the beautiful seasonal weather in Winchester.  The Civil War Fort at Boonesborough boasts a challenging trail, with panoramic views of the local countryside.  This pet-friendly trail is perfect for helping kids and dogs alike expend some energy on crisp fall days.  But before they’re completely tuckered out, make sure to head on over to the Blackfish Bison Ranch and take a wagon tour of the buffalo herd.  Kids will love the opportunity to try their hand at ranching activities like hand-feeding buffalo and lassoing a hay bale steer head.  The area is rich with Native American history and culture and the ranch highlights the strong spiritual ties between the buffalo and Native Americans that call these lands home.  The ranch itself is named in honor of Chief Blackfish, a former leader of the Shawnee Indians.  A Lakota Sioux feather “smudge” ceremony is an exciting part of every tour.
