About Irvine, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Legend has it that Irvine is the first place where Daniel Boone looked out onto Bluegrass Country.  The town is situated in Estill County, which is known for its scenic valleys.  Though the vistas have likely changed a great deal from the time of Daniel Boone, the beautiful green, rolling hills still call to visitors throughout the four seasons.

Locals take pride in their mountain way of life and they are very serious about their fungi in Irvine!  The town is home to the annual Mountain Mushroom Festival.  The festival, which takes place every April, is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the beautiful spring weather with activities such as parade, a 5k “fungus” run, a tractor show, a mushroom market and more!  Citizens come out to showcase their best morel mushrooms and agate (Kentucky’s state stone).  These beautiful stones are as varied as the local arts and crafts you can find at the festival.  There is a real sense of community that can be found in Irvine.  If you’re hunting for beautiful scenery and clean mountain air in late spring, there’s no better place to find it than Irvine’s Mountain Mushroom Festival.

The area is also home to the C2H2 farm, a busy operation that raises Dexter cows and some really special, rare breeds of chickens.  Like so many things in Irvine, the chicken coops are custom-built with love and pride.  The farm provides fun for the whole family and is a must-see stop on your tour or Irvine.  For those seeking a little more adventure, Irvine also provides easy access to the Kentucky River.  It is a perfect location for day trips by paddle boat on a warm summer day.  When you’re done, you can dry off and enjoy the view at the historic River View Place.  This building houses all varieties of local crafts and even has two rooms dedicated to music lessons.  It’s the perfect place to brush up on your piano skills during the chilly winter days.
